In terms of fundamental rights of non-human animals and moral ethics, it can be stated that killing or torturing of animals should be stopped as it can hamper the ecological balance.According to Kant’s argument, the non-human animals have souls as they are able to move. It is an ontological distinction between the non-human animals and matters. The non-human animals are not just matters or mere machines. The animals do have souls as everything in the nature is either animate or inanimate. Moreover, the non-human animal can feel the inner aspects, such as pain, joy and sorrow. Therefore, it can be stated that the non-human animals are an animated matter lack of inner spontaneity principle.The non-human animals can make several moral claims on human beings. Peter Singer suggested that there is no ethically and morally justifiable way to eliminate from the moral consideration. It is the fundamental right and natural attitude to avoid pain or injury. According to Peter Singer, the non-human animals have the right to live in the society as they have several important contributions to the society (Preece 100). The domestic animals and other non-human animals have played important role in the development of society and community. The human beings of modern era should acknowledge and provide value towards the contributions of these non-human animals. These non-human animals have their own voice but they cannot share those with the human beings. It is the responsibility of modern civilization to identify their inner feelings through their attitude. According to the morale right, the killing of animals should be stopped as these have several negative consequences in order to maintain the ecological balance of nature. According to Peter Singer, the non-human animals should be treated systematically and routinely. They have the ability to respond to the external aspects and they have souls.
