The metrics in particular will help in assessing the direction of the events management industry as a serious industry that can stand toe to toe with the other service industries. Proper phase of the events planning should include project preparation, planning, execution and conclusion of the event (Ellen, 2009).It is recognized that there are different types of events that can be used as a vehicle to promote the tourism attraction of a particular location.
