Therefore, there was an urgent need to replace wood by coal and fuel energy during industrial revolution; these sources have been used for quite a long period of time (Wengenmayr,et al. Even though double growth has been witnessed in economy ever since these natural sources of energy were discovered and put into use, they are accompanied with numerous challenges. The main problem with these traditional sources of energy is that the natural resources of fossils such as coal and gas have rapidly diminished leading to constant increase in prices of fuels. The two transitions, from wood to coal, and from whale oil to petroleum were triggered by the depletion of the main fuel source. Crude oil, which is the primary source of energy today, is also faced by the same challenges. Moreover, humanity has been faced by serious consequences of thoughtless use of these non-renewable natural sources of energy. There has been increased global warming and ozone layer depletion which is as a result of the vast emissions of greenhouse gases during the process of burning fossil fuels; as well as soil erosion and environmental pollution, changes which are irreversible. For a long time, there has been struggle to look for other alternative energy sources which are more eco-friendly, clean and safe for not only humane, but also for environment with its flora and fauna. Non-renewable power such as gasoline can be replaced by renewable power such as electricity which is from wind tower or the solar panel for transportation, is more helpful for saving environment in recent years in Oregon because the electricity can bring non-pollution and purely clean energy for Oregon’s environment (Wengenmayr,et al.Solar and wind are renewable energies that are affordable, clean, domestic and efficiently unlimited; they produce no emissions and yields cleaner air and water for all. Even though other relatively new sources of energy such as fuel cells, geothermal energy, and ocean energy are also being exploited, but the promising alternatives for a cleaner and greener future are the solar energy and the wind energy. Almost everything in this world ultimately derives it energy from the sun. Instead of obtaining the sun’s energy from indirect sources such as fuels, studies are being conducted across the globe to directly harness this unlimited source of energy to use it productively (Evans 76). It has
