Leadership is a skill that can be learned and used to motivate others at the workplace and other realms of life (Cohen & Swerdlik, 2002). The score means that if only more effort is added, one can just be as passionate about honing their leadership skills, because at the end of the day leadership is learned, not acquired. Personally, the score surprised me. I have always believed that leaders are born; that they must be orators. After the score, though, I am now confident that I can compose myself and assume any leadership role. My friends once told me that I could be a great leader. Leadership is a learning process that comes in handy for me in the career. I will use the score to scale the heights and influence friends and colleagues around me. Overall, I liked the test (and the results). It injected a new hope of leadership even in my future career and endeavors.The score was 100%. This result indicates that one is every keen at interpreting the actions and words of people during both verbal and non-verbal communication. They view things from their perspectives, which greatly help to reduce miscommunication and misunderstanding (Cohen & Swerdlik, 2002). For instance, empathy is essential as one place themselves in other people’s situations without necessarily judging them. Personally, I was extremely pleased with the results. I have always believed that communication is very critical in life. I am passionate to friends and colleagues; most of the time, I identify with their situations. I am convinced I have strong interpersonal skills that will allow be to adjust to different situations in life. Overall, the test was a revelation to me that I have strong communication and interpersonal skills that come in handy in the workplace.Currently, I am a full-time student and working in a full server restaurant as server and manager assistant. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry and offer good services to clients. I am above average student, who gives priority to assignments; ensuring that I deliver them on time. I believe in teamwork. I am active during class discussions and never hesitate to ask questions or clarifications regarding concepts that I do not grasp well. At work, I practice integrity and ensure that I fulfill my obligations, at least as dictated by my manager or by circumstances. I also believe in learning. I like working in busy environments.
