In order to establish safer and better workplace, construction companies spot their experts related to risk management in order to introduce safer plans for an industry. In this way, before the beginning of any project, the managers and the planners decide the most effective strategies for risk management. Once a company starts a project, it should be kept in mind that safety is the part of job for every employee, everyday.In the business of construction, safety is always been a problem not only for the workers but for the executive class as well in a long run. Safety management plans are always required to deal with the situation. The problems of safety involve falls from height during work, injuries and dust associated with tools and equipments.In a construction industry, fall is the major cause of injury with many of the falls leading to fatal injuries, disabilities and even deaths. According to Taylor and Easter (2008), the accidents and injuries just because of falls and slips within a construction industry accounts more than 35% which is relatively high especially when compared with those injuries associated with injuries with equipment. There may be several risk activities within an industry that may result in falls. For example roofing is the major cause of falls. While construction industries try their best to provide all the precautionary measures to the workers at their maximum, yet 100% safety is impossible to ensure. Next to roofing, other activities like high heights through ladder and scaffolds may also cause serious risks since workers may slip or fall. There are many cases in which the ladder fall causes serious or even deadly injuries to the labor. Usually, deadly falls are those where the victim falls from a considerable height more than three meters. However, this does not mean that the falls below than this height are not deadly. Sometimes, below three meters’ fall can be deadly enough especially when the head of the labor directly hits the ground.According to Carper and Feld (2004), the best way to minimize the risk of fall is safety belts.
