The agents’ takes over the task of distributing the products to the wholesalers who then sells to the retailers and eventually the customers are able to get the goods from the retailers.The appropriate method of distribution will be producer-Wholesaler-Retailer-Customer; this type of distribution will be effective as it will ensure that the portable play stations reach the customers fast (Sloan, 2011). The promotion of the products will also be as the wholesalers may be called upon to carry out the promotions in their various outlets. The distribution channel will also reduce the burden of distribution on the producer.In order to attain high sales, some of the top wholesalers who are already in existence and trade in similar goods like the portable play stations will be contracted. So as to make the contract appealing reasonable discounts will be given according to the quantity of the goods bought. Contracting of the already established wholesalers will be beneficial as they already have a sales team that will be able to conduct the sale.All the wholesalers will be given a reasonable discount on all the goods bought so as to encourage them to buy more. The whole sellers who buy more goods will also be given higher discounts. This type of initiative will ensure that the whole sellers are able to make some profit.Advertisement is a very crucial aspect of any business, in that aspect some public awareness campaigns on the new portable play station will have to be carried out. Some of the promotional activities that will be carried out will include; setting up of mobile shops “allowing hands-on testing of the product.” Some selected retail stores will also take part in the promotion; the activity will have to take place in some of the most convenient areas such as shopping malls and even schools. Most of the people who will use the products are mostly from the ages of 12- 17 years.The promotion will be carried out in phases, so as to ensure that the advertisement is a success. There are various cities in India, thus the promotion will take place in different cities and different social areas and establishments.Putting up of posters in areas where the potential consumers will be able to see the products will be another advertising strategy (Sloan, 2011).
