Arjun became a registered engineer in the USA in 1985. Thereafter, he offered freelance design consulting services and made a lot of money out of this business. While Arjun happened to improve himself financially, he seemed to be losing ties with his family. Failed marriage with Vida taught Arjun the lesson that it was he who had to compromise in marriage since he was a foreigner there. Then Arjun married Rita, a white American girl from whom, Arjun had three children; two boys and a girl. Arjun spent a lot on their education and grooming, but unfortunately, his elder son became the drug addict and alcoholic as Arjun couldn’t keep an eye on him owing to his and his wife’s extremely busy schedule. In our modern society where both parents usually work, if there are two parents at all, and there are computers, smartphones, a bazillion cable television channels, I-Pods and more it is literally impossible for a parent to be on the job all day, every day” (Bussey). Drug abuse is a growing risk for teenagers in the USA (Langfield, Maclntyre, and Turner). His younger son is doing good in studies. Arjun is also worried about the marriage of his eldest daughter, Flaura. Arjun wants her to be married to an Indian man, but she is dating Dan, an American boy and has decided to tie knots with him. Immigration to the USA for Indian People.
