He points out architecture to be the period of bringing revision in values in the modern homes. The differences of le Corbusier in defining house and architecture explains what he thinks a house should be in terms of relations between architecture and house. According to him, architecture and house have two different meanings that are independent from one another. Architecture entails utility, practical arrangements and comfort. Moreover, architecture is the art above all the others that achieves a state of platonic mathematical order, grandeur and speculations. It is the perfection of harmony, which lies in emotional relationships. The above sentiments are the major aims of architecture in relation to a home according to Le Corbusier. Therefore, the designing of a house based on architectural concepts brings comfort and practical arrangements’ to a home. It is important for individuals with homes to seek architectural consultations before designing a home to develop comfort and utility in their homes.Architecture of modern movements has the aspirations of being much simple in the design of homes and style among others. The differences in style generate diverse ideas and culture that brings equilibrium to the society. The home is believed to be the most potent vehicle for architectural styles. Moreover, in a home everyone has a right as far as it is concerned with the necessities of life. The rights include eating, sleeping and washing among others. All these rights seem to be common in all homes and improvements concern biological necessities that relate to all individuals in a house. Besides, it is a place where we begin and form identities and become ourselves. In his book, towards a new architecture Le Corbusier describes a home as machine for living inside it. He draws his ideas in an attempt to reform a home and through it a society in general. He experimented prototypes of a home along architects of modern movement and developed mass production of ideas and hence effects that were potentially available to everyone. In regards to housing, the rights of humans have a special implication. It develops major impacts in an individual’s wellbeing. For example, in the United Kingdom, the state is very kin in the protection of the rights of human beings in relation to housing.
