When watching the movie it sometimes get irritating as the comedy is very slippery. The film that started in a sober fashion turns out to the end to be a madly doubtful drama. Audience however may try not to mind about the very tangled plot and concentrate and try to understand the real happenings of the movie, they may find a lot in it that they can relish (Baker, 2011).According to the book, there are several annoying features of a movie and novel that makes them annoying. In the novel, what makes t annoying is that it has the famous process of equivalence where one is not aware nor certain on what the novel contain. This is due to the element that the novel or the film that is analyzed contains unfilmable films. In the novel, there is praising of Robert Bresson by Andre Bazin. The praise was due to adaptation that was made on the work. Those who had the knowledge of the movie would remember well the scenes that were admirable as they adapted to it. Before writing on the part, there was complain that the scene was not filmable.In the middle of the novel, the treatment and an imperceptive nonbeliever named Arsene are opposed in an argument on Faith. This argument ends with this line by Arsene stating that when one is dead, everything also is dead. In the version, this argument takes place on the very tomb of the cure, between Arsene and another cure, and terminates the film.This line, "When one is dead, everything is dead," carries, perhaps the only one retained by the public. Bernanos did not say, for conclusion, "When one is dead, everything is dead," but "What does it matter, all is grace. As per the view of one, this this is an instance of betrayal but not to everyone as the mix up in the scenes make people to have different points of view to the statement. From reading the novel, there are elements which are brought out. The stand outs include a deliberate and constant care to be unfaithful to the spirits involved and the letter. There is also bringing out of a very marked taste for profanation and blasphemy.Everything shows that Aurenche and Bost are the writers of honestly anti-clerical films, but, since movies about the cloth are stylish, authors have accepted themselves to agree to that style. But as it outfits them they think that they should not betray their beliefs, the theme of dissent and desecration, discourses with double meaning s brought out here and there to prove to me guys that they know the art of
