Landscape has a great impact on psychological wellbeing. A peaceful, calm, clean and uncongested surrounding provides a soothing feeling, opportunities to exercise, play, walk and have more greenery which is beneficial for health. It saves from the headache of traffic congestion and shared resources such as water, gas and street space (Joseph, 2009).The global water cycle provides renewable water, but a number of factors affect how much freshwater is available for human consumption. Describe these factors and circumstances. When do human interventions in water availability pose serious problems to freshwater accessibility?Several factors affect the availability of fresh drinking water globally. The most prominent one is the population which is ever increasing and the demand of fresh water has risen to a great extent because of this. Secondly, the increase in water pollution and increased sewage has led to lack of fresh water availability. Other environmental factors such as global warming, floods, droughts and extreme weather conditions have caused problems like siltation and addition of pollutants to water in dams ( Gleick & Cooley, 2008).In Chapter Six of Contemporary Environmental Issues, the past century has been referred to as the Age of Oil. As we reach a possible peak in oil production, what alternatives are forming? Consider the role of OPEC, perhaps, in reorganizing and monitoring oil production. What do you think is the most viable way to address after effects of this possible peak?We are undoubtedly living in the era of oil but factually, it is a fossil fuel and does not have unlimited production forever. The production of oil has reduced in the past few decades and likely to reduce in future as well unless new resources are found to meet the high current demand. Technological advances introducing several new ways of extraction are being used now, but the fact is that for extracting oil it is important for it to be present under the ground. OPEC is the pioneer in oil production but it also has great concerns for the future. Oil prices will increase rapidly causing the world’s economic situation to get disturbed. Major water injections may also be required to keep the oil running (Wargo, 2010).Climate change is an environmental issue in the news almost daily, and air pollution impacts us on a global level. What are the implications of global
