Under the HAS all these organizations are governed by the rules and regulation provided by the organization.The large industrial market in Ireland greatly depends on the effort by the human resources and for this reason they have to be protected from hazardous working conditions. In a workplace safety report according to the HSA there was 7658 non-fatal accident reported by employees in 20085. This number is alarming to the market but this was a slight reduction from the previous year. The change effected by the HSA has been less significant but has record changes in ensuring employees are well protected.Just like any growing nation, Ireland has a great number of employees both in the private and public sectors. These employees are based on different work fields from company drivers to construction workers and many more. These employees need protection from their employers who may be only profit oriented. Additionally, all employees are entitled to be protected at their working stations.Analyzing the effects of unsafe environments, the importance of the Health and Safety Law becomes significant. For instance, on an annual basis there are 76 work related accidents on Irish roads. These employees need to be protected.Another importance of the law is that it shapes the operations of the HSA. The law also guides the creations of laws by the HSA and the decisions made by the court regarding matters on Health and Safety in the workplace6. For instance, the HSA shut down a construction site conducted by Andrew Hally after their inspectors raised concerns on the working conditions the workers were exposed to in the site. The concerns were raised on the quantity of electricity used in the site: which were 240 volts and employees were exposed to a high risk of electrocution. Additionally, the working height was too risky for the workers.From the analysis it is an obvious fact that the Health and Safety laws heavily impact on the way in which employees are handled and protected in organizations. Minus the law the number of casualties could be alarming in working stations.The first Heath and Safety law was created in 1989. The development of the law was based on the safety recommendation suggested by employees and civil groups. This was after the rate of negligence
