Kimmel had written twenty volumes or more that include some of the famous titles like The Politics of Manhood, The Gender of Desire and The History of Men, Changing Men: New Directions in Research on Men and Masculinity, and Men Confront Pornography. He also made some documentaries and one of them is entitled “Against the Tide: Pro-Feminist Men in the United States, 1776-1990” that focused on men throughout history who helped women gain equality. Some of the reviews were even printed in famous newspapers, such as The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times (Kimmel).
