This has been the case with great musicians, political leaders, scholars, sports and technocrats .For this reason I would encourage children to watch television.I would ensure that I mobilize the civil society against some media content and compel the government authorities to give television media houses strict rules on what to air and the time. This would be focused on reducing the effect on children as observed below. Since I also know that television content is heavily bringing down the moral standing of the teenagers and their cognitive development. This is raising concern all over the globe since there is an exponential rise in social ills among the youth today as a result of negative influence of what they watch and attempts to practice (Siegel & Larry, 45-8). There is a growing interest in media violence as one of the programmes that youth tend to watch. This entails programmes where people act in violent manner and behave in an inhuman way in the name of entertainment to the surprise and steady attraction from teenagers. When the teenagers have watched such violent programs they begin to develop unexplained rebellious behavior to the parents, friends and any other member of the society. One of the worst repercussions of such television content is that it trains the teenagers to develop spirit of low intervention or help in a situation of emergency. Past research studies indicates that the teenagers who have been exposed to excessive violence related programmes tend to treat such real life incidences of emergency as normal and they therefore reacts reservedly when dealing with the victims. As they. My concern with television content.
