This, in turn, provides details on how best these children can be taught (Morrison, 2011).Despite his attempts to provide information on how well to conduct early childhood education, there are some aspects that the author does not fully highlight. These are areas such as the application of technology appropriately to deal with issues of observation and assessment of young children. It is in spite of the information provided in connection to the shifting roles and responsibilities of the various professionals who deal with early childhood education. Owing to this, the related practitioners are not well equipped with skills that can enable them to come up with creative strategies and techniques of assessment and implementation.In newspapers and magazines, the most common issues that are brought up in relation to assessment and evaluation are the increased use of formal assessment and testing to sort children out in various categories. as such, similar issues that are addressed in the news include the creation of a caring community of learners, teaching as a way through which development and learning can be enhanced and the construction of a curriculum which is appropriate (Lidz, 2002).
