Animal Legal Rights

Animal Legal Rights. The Moral consideration in this essay is, do animals possess legal rights? Is it that humans are rational, autonomous or language users that make them potentially considered. This is the basis to say that animals are not of any moral status. All this is subject to nature, and events may not be dated to when it began. For instance, hunting and gathering are events that happened because of the need for human beings to survive and create a decent life for their families.
Before wild justice, what is animal rights, animals were in service to man. An instance is a donkey which was majorly used for transportation, elephants brutally killed for their horns to be used as ivory and many other animals hunted for food.

The practice of domesticating animals came into being, different animals for different purposes, some to provide wool and others for the mere company an example is a domestic cat.
The manner in which human being have neglected the duty to care for an animal can be argued to be a reflection of their insensitive attitude towards non-human life. For instance, the determination by the British common law through a ruling that animal does not have legal right shows how mankind has the potential and legal backing to disregard animals and their rights. For long, instances of abuse against animal by people have been considered as an infringement of on the individual owner right of property.
Moral respect for animals is often brought about by altruism although animals do not have moral agency instinct towards the wellbeing of human beings. Therefore, the duties of people towards animals are based on other direct motivations. We can argue a case in point here to be the kindness as a result of human’s need to cultivate humanity. When you mistreat animal life by for example killing them recklessly or beating donkeys it is considered inhumane.
Another instance of right motivation is the art of recognizing the inherent value of others, in this case, the value of animals. Animal Legal Rights.
