Aging Longevity further claims that successful coping with current situation increases one’s potential to cope with future tasks while at the same time initiating further development. The article generally provides information that mesh well with those of other theorists. For one, it is almost common knowledge that learning or education is a continuous process (Hoare, 2006). Furthermore, it is in agreement with many a life span development theorist that even during adulthood, positive development occurs. Such developments indeed affect the individual later in life in so far as personal health, life satisfaction and contribution to society is concerned (Demick & Andreoletti, 2003).
