Attention deficit hypersensitivity. Hand parents whose children suffer from this disorder suffer from stress as they have no adequate knowledge on how to take care of their young children. Some of them go to an extent of abandoning their children an aspect that affect the child psychologically. Due to this condition many families have experienced divorce cases as the condition brings about wrangles in the family. This brings financial challenge which might directly affect the child who requires close attention (Harpin 2012).At this stage children start to mature and identify the disorder that their fellow child with ADHD is suffering from leading to alienation by friends. Some of the characteristic associated with this condition is the academic failure.

This poor performance result from low self esteem as the child realize that he/she is different from other children. In addition to this, realization the child experience rejection by peers due to his/her poor learning skills that lead to poor performance. The situation becomes even worse when the teacher does not intervene to curb the alienation and jeering behavior that may be directed towards this student. Frequent difficulties starts to occur even when conducting home chores. The child becomes more forgetful an aspect that can lead to some parents trying to install discipline as they might think that the child is pretending (Harpin 2012, i3).Children at this stage might indulge themselves to bad peer groups as a way of looking for comfort. The child may even lose interest in education as the environment in school is not conducive for learning. As a remedy to this the teacher should appreciate any effort that the child shows towards improving his/her learning skills. This may be through awarding gifts to the affected children (Harpin 2012, i3).During this age the body of the child experiences very many changes. This is the most crucial moment that a child suffering from ADHD needs close attention from parents and teachers. This is because neglect by the peers may have a negative impact on the behavior of the child. A child may look for comfort from the drugs and seek recognition through indulging themselves in criminal activities (Harpin 2012).A child who suffers from this disorder shows characteristics of being defiant, disobedient, and aggressive. The child at this age tries to attract the attention of the society which has neglected him/her through defying the norms that others follow. They therefore cause frequent conflicts.
