This was so intense that as at four o clock the city ceased to exist. The tectonic magma thermo-seismic model invented by Li in 1986. Li suggested that the earthquake was a result of the effects of the horizontal comprehensive stress caused by pacific plate shifting to the west and the upward comprehensive stress that was caused by the uplift of mantle and magma-intrusion. However, this theory has some suspicious points. For example, its bases are on the faulty activities but do not provide any proof on the earthquake’s dynamics (Said, 2009). The multi-dynamical processes and crust weakening, invented by Wang in 2001. According to Wang, multi-dynamical events occurred owing to the simultaneous movements that were experienced by the plates surrounding the Chinese mainland. There was difficulty in micro-cranny development causing lack of foreshocks. The gradual weakening of the inherent crust structure in the Tangshan region followed and was accompanied by 4 seismic denseness. This model is more detailed than that of Li as it is easy to connect how and why two shocks occurred at very shallow depths without foreshocks. The dilation creep model invented by Niu in 1985: Niu states that it may have been caused by a migration of mass in the crust upwards, or the mantle in the upper region and also the large scale events contained by a combination of steadfast slippage and sporadic brittle rapture along the fault.The most affected regions faced some serious economic consequences directly or indirectly. The direct damages reduced the capacity of production, which meant that there was an imbalance in the demand-supply. Before rebuilding the city, a huge loss was encountered due to the delays in production that failed to meet the demands of the market. Minor direct damages had dire consequences on the economy of China. The recovery time played an important role in determining the indirect loses. New policies were implemented and better structures constructed with outside assistance. The economy has significantly improved since the disaster occurred. The physical fallout of the quake was significant as so many lives were lost. Tangshan was later rebuilt and now homes over 3 million people. It is currently referred to as the “Brave City of China” this is due to its swift recovery from the event.The Tangshan earthquake happened at a time where politics in China were very dramatic.
